Dr Srirekha Vadasseri is a Consultant Psychiatrist with consulting suites in Melbourne Pain Group based in the Victorian rehabilitation Centre, Glen Waverley. She specialises in chronic pain, anxiety disorders and general adult psychiatry.

She takes a pragmatic approach to patient care with a focus on practical treatment through comprehensive, individualised consultations. Srirekha is committed to providing excellence and attentiveness in all patient care he provides.

Dr Vadasseri has trained locally and overseas, attaining her Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery and Doctor of Medicine degree (anesthesiology) qulaifications from Mangalore College in India.  In Australia she has also obtained the Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP) and Fellowship of the Faculty of Pain Medicine, Australian and New Zealand Colege of Anaethetists (FFPMANZCA).

She has a keen interest in working with people who have chronic pain, psychological difficulties and mood and personality disorders.  She completed her pain medicine training at St. Vincent's Hospital Melbourne and Melbourne Pain Group.  She has worked as the Consultant Psychiatrist at the Pain Clinics in Monash Health and St Vincent's Health.  She works privately at Melbourne Pain Group and is an accredited psychiatrist at Delmont Private Hospital.
