Dr Vinit Mathur is a full-time Consultant Psychiatrist at Delmont Private Hospital with his psychiatric experience spanning over 20 years. He is currently involved in inpatient and outpatient treatments.

He takes a patient-centred style, focusing on holistic and comprehensive treatments. Vinit specialises in aged psychiatry and psychotic disorders, however his compassionate style suits individuals with a wide variety of conditions.

Dr Mathur trained in Psychiatry at the University of Bombay in India and in Australia. Vinit conducts formal teaching for medical students throughout Melbourne.  He is a lecturer and supervisor at the University of Melbourne and is involved in clinical teaching at Deakin University.
